How Stellar AIz Inc. handles personal information

About This Policy

Stellar AIz Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of users' personal information in the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as "the Service").

Article 1 (Personal Information)

"Personal Information" refers to "personal information" as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, meaning information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, or other descriptions contained in such information, as well as data relating to physical appearance, fingerprints, voiceprints, and information that can identify a specific individual from that information alone, such as health insurance card insurer numbers (personal identification information).

Article 2 (Methods of Collecting Personal Information)

The Company may request personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, and driver's license number when users register for use. Additionally, the Company may collect transaction records and payment-related information containing users' personal information from our partners (including information providers, advertisers, ad distribution partners, etc., hereinafter referred to as "Partners") regarding transactions between users and Partners.

Article 3 (Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information)

The purposes for which the Company collects and uses personal information are as follows:

Article 4 (Change of Purpose of Use)

Article 5 (Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties)

The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the prior consent of the user, except in the following cases. However, this excludes cases permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws and regulations.

a. When it is necessary for the protection of human life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
b. When it is especially necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
c. When it is necessary to cooperate with a national institution, local government, or a person entrusted by them in executing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the individual may impede the execution of such affairs
d. When the following matters are notified or announced in advance and the Company has notified the Personal Information Protection Commission

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the recipient of information shall not be considered a third party in the following cases:

a. When the Company outsources all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
b. When personal information is provided as a result of succession of business due to merger or other reasons
c. When personal information is used jointly with a specific party, and the individual has been notified in advance or can easily learn of the items of personal information to be jointly used, the scope of parties using them jointly, the purpose of use by those using them, and the name of the person responsible for managing the personal information

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

1.

When requested by an individual to disclose their personal information, the Company shall disclose it to the individual without delay. However, if disclosure falls under any of the following, the Company may choose not to disclose all or part of the information, and if such a decision is made, the individual will be notified without delay. A fee of 1,000 yen per case will be charged for disclosure of personal information.

a. When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party
b. When there is a risk of significantly impeding the proper execution of the Company's business
c. When disclosure would violate other laws and regulations

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, information other than personal information, such as history information and characteristic information, will not be disclosed as a general rule.

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

1.

If the user's own personal information held by the Company is incorrect, the user may request correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as "Correction, etc.") of the personal information from the Company according to the procedures established by the Company.

2.

When the Company receives a request as described in the preceding paragraph and determines that it is necessary to comply with the request, the Company shall make such Correction, etc. of the personal information without delay.

3.

When the Company has made Correction, etc. based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or when the Company has decided not to make Correction, etc., the Company shall notify the user without delay.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information)

1.

When requested by an individual to suspend or delete the use of personal information (hereinafter referred to as "Suspension of Use, etc.") on the grounds that the personal information is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or that it was obtained by wrongful means, the Company shall conduct the necessary investigation without delay.

2.

Based on the results of the investigation in the preceding paragraph, if it is determined that it is necessary to comply with the request, the Company shall implement Suspension of Use, etc. of the personal information without delay.

3.

When the Company has implemented Suspension of Use, etc. based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or when the Company has decided not to implement Suspension of Use, etc., the Company shall notify the user without delay.

4.

Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, when Suspension of Use, etc. requires substantial costs or is otherwise difficult to implement, and alternative measures can be taken to protect the rights and interests of users, such alternative measures shall be implemented.

Article 9 (Changes to Privacy Policy)

1.

The contents of this Policy may be changed without notice to users, except for matters otherwise provided by laws and regulations or this Policy.

2.

Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
